Bush’s Pasture Park is a quiet and relaxing part of the city of Salem. You can walk through the impressive botanical gardens, or enjoy a park and Asahel Bush House in Victorian style (built in 1877 - 1878). The Bush house (now Bush House Museum) was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
The Bush Pasture Park, located on 90.5 acres, is a perfect spot for walking, jogging, and bike riding. There are four playgrounds for children, picnic areas, and tennis courts. The park has a rose garden with 2,000 roses, greenhouse, and rhododendron alley. The Bush Barn Art Center is a place for art exhibition and galleries.
