Kahneeta (Kah-Nee-Ta) Resort and Spa, located in Central Oregon on the bank of the Warm Springs River, 120 miles east of Portland, and 10 miles north of Warm Springs. Kahneeta, 600,000 square acre Warm Springs Indian Reservation, is opened to the public every day of the year. The double Olympic-sized swimming pool with mineral water is maintained at 86°F (30°C) in summer and 92°F (33°C) in fall and winter.
A source of hot springs has a temperature 130°F (54°C). Kids are happy to take a trip down the 140-foot-long or 184-foot long slides into the water of the swimming pool. Another mineral pool is available for the lodge guests. The swimming pool is divided into a few sections of different depths. Adult swimmers use the deepest part for a lap swimming and kids have fun in the shallow mineral pool.
Because Kahneeta Resort and Spa is a popular spot, the lodge and Village rooms should be reserved in advance. Admission to the Hot Springs swimming pool is included for overnight guests. A day use pass is also available. General admission is $15, children ages 4-10 and seniors pay $10.
Kahneeta Resort and Spa offers full body massage, facials, body wraps, and aroma therapies.
