In addition to just experiencing and enjoying the hot spring benefits, you will have the ability to enjoy the serenity of the old-growth dense forest. Terwilliger Hot Springs has some fantastic surprises in the form of its very own lagoon and waterfall.

You will find five pools connected to each other. The springs come from a small cave at about 116 °F (47°C). The upper pool has the highest temperature because it is the closest spot to the source. There is a covered shelter or changing area. There are toilets near the hot springs and in the parking area.

Terwilliger Hot Springs is open 365 days during the daytime. Every Thursday from 8 am till 12 pm, pools are closed for cleaning and maintenance. Avoid visiting Terwilliger Hot Springs on weekends and holidays, because it can be crowded.
